Life on Board
01 — The Spaces
Three decks of glass wrapped around the stern — bar, restaurant and performance space among living greenery. Evenings bring aerialists and live sets.
The tangerine platform cantilevered over the sea — a bar with the best view on the ship, and the stage for "Dinner on the Edge" evenings.
An open-air garden of sculpture and greenery — live music sessions, outdoor films, and the gathering point for every scenic sail-in.
The three-deck heart of the ship. The Martini Bar's flair bartenders and nightly chandelier shows make it the busiest room afloat by ten.
A glass-domed, adults-only pool room facing forward over the bow — in Norway and Alaska, the warmest seat for cold scenery.
Eight thermal rooms — hammam, salt room, steam, infrared sauna, Crystallarium, float room, rainfall therapy, and heated stone loungers behind forward glass.
The suite enclave's private deck — pool, bar, cabanas and attendants. With Luminae and the Retreat Lounge, it forms the ship-within-the-ship.
A 900-seat theatre-in-the-round with projection walls and an aerial rig — two to three original productions per sailing, plus headline guest nights.
The Retreat's private restaurant — a daily-changing menu most guests rate the best food on board.
02 — The Tables
Four main restaurants rotate as your included dinner seat — same standard, four different accents. Specialty rooms charge a cover; prices and verdicts for those sit in the Norway guide's spending chapter.
03 — After Dark
Each ship carries two to three original theatre productions of her own, refreshed over the seasons, plus rotating guest headliners — comedians, vocalists, instrumentalists — on the nights in between. The 900-seat Theatre spans three decks; from Beyond onward it gained a 110-ft curved LED wall.
Kaleidoscope — the high-energy pop spectacle with aerialists — anchors the lineup; recent sailings added concert-style shows such as Feel the Funk and Women of Rock. The original launch shows rotate in and out; check your sailing's programme.
Crystalize leads with lasers, aerial acrobatics and a world-class electric violinist; Tree of Life projects life's milestones onto a 20-ft tree of 3,000 LED leaves; Rockumentary runs the history of rock as a live concert.
Elements journeys through air, water, earth and fire; Arte steps inside iconic artworks; Stage Door is a Broadway–West End medley backed by a symphony orchestra recorded at the London Palladium.
Awaken is a surreal aerial dreamscape; Bridges tells human connection through dance; Residency imports the Las Vegas format — a rotating cast of concert artists in residence.
The newest ship carries the fleet's largest cast (18, with its first parkour artists): Mainstage is a festival-style concert with pyrotechnics; Between Takes pairs 1920s Hollywood glamour with Broadway; Chapters is the reflective one.
Evenings in Eden bring aerialists, contortionists and live sets played in-the-round, ending as a dance party; The Club runs game shows and silent discos before turning nightclub (on Xcel: the "254 West" disco night, a murder-mystery cabaret, and The Attic retro arcade); the Martini Bar's flair bartenders and chandelier light shows pack the Grand Plaza nightly; the Rooftop Garden screens films under the stars with live music.
04 — The Days
Trivia rounds and game shows in The Club, wine tastings and the 12-glass "Wine Walk Around the World", Mixology 101 masterclasses, Park West art auctions and Create & Pour painting sessions, destination lectures in The Theatre, dance classes, silent disco, and live music drifting through the Grand Plaza, Sunset Bar and Rooftop Garden from mid-afternoon. The daily programme arrives each evening via the app and a printed Daily.
Beyond the thermal suite: Swedish massage from US$179/50 min, hot-stone from $169, deep tissue from $199, facials $199–249, detox wraps $249–299, plus the MLX i3Dome infrared therapy — a first at sea on this class — acupuncture, medi-spa and a Kérastase salon. An 18% service charge applies; port-day and embarkation-day promotions are the standard way to pay less.
A large forward gym with Technogym equipment and Peloton bikes; F45 studio classes from Beyond onward; yoga and meditation sessions (group classes ~$20, multi-day passes available). The deck-15 jogging track is a winding two-level course threading through the Rooftop Garden rather than a flat oval — worth a lap for the route alone.
Two "Evening Chic" nights on a 7-night sailing (one on shorter trips): cocktail dress, elegant separates or a blazer — a tuxedo is welcome but never required; Celebrity retired black-tie nights in 2015. Every other night is Smart Casual; shorts and flip-flops sit out dinner in the restaurants.
